Tokyo · Partner house

Tokyo rewards preparation. We arrive prepared.

Tokyo has the deepest chauffeur culture in the world — white gloves, spotless sedans, a formality that predates the word logistics. Famous Drive serves the city through a vetted partner house native to that tradition and held to our standard, with every reservation arranged and watched by our New York desk on a single account.

The ground

How Tokyo runs.

Haneda, Narita, and the slot question

Haneda (HND) is the close-in airport, a short run from Marunouchi; Narita (NRT) sits well east of the city and demands a longer transfer planned accordingly. Private aviation into Tokyo is genuinely slot-constrained — business jet movements at both fields require handling and lead time — so the desk builds that lead time into the reservation rather than discovering it at the ramp.

Marunouchi to Toranomon

Corporate Tokyo clusters tightly: Marunouchi and Otemachi beside Tokyo Station, Nihonbashi's banking blocks, then the newer gravity of Toranomon and Azabudai Hills, with Akasaka and Ginza closing the evening. The partner house moves between them with the timing habits of a city where seven minutes early is on time.

Arranged across fourteen hours

Tokyo runs thirteen to fourteen hours ahead of New York depending on the season, which puts the two business days almost back to back. The desk uses the overlap deliberately: itineraries settled during a New York afternoon are confirmed into Tokyo's next morning, with the chauffeur's details in the booker's inbox before Japan wakes.

The world's most exacting chauffeur city, arranged from the desk you already know.

Arrange Tokyo

Tokyo is booked the way every Famous Drive city is booked: through the New York desk, by phone at +1 (212) 239-9500 or by email, at any hour. Account clients send the itinerary and receive confirmation; first-time clients complete a short profile first. Rates are confirmed privately by the desk.

Why it books through New York

One desk, every city.

A partner worthy of the local bar

In Tokyo the vetting question is inverted — the local standard is already exacting, and our review confirms the house meets both that tradition and ours: condition of vehicles, conduct of chauffeurs, and communication a New York desk can rely on at distance.

One account, no translation required

Your profile, preferences, and billing live with Famous Drive in New York and are conveyed to the Tokyo house on your behalf. The client steps into the car; everything else has been said already, in the right language.

The desk carries the itinerary

Bookers do not coordinate with Tokyo directly unless they wish to. The New York desk places the reservation, relays the manifest, tracks the flights, and remains the single number to call — +1 (212) 239-9500 — at any hour of either city's day.

Fixed at booking, held at booking

Fares are confirmed privately when the reservation is placed and are not repriced afterward — not for a late-night Narita arrival, not for cherry-blossom season traffic, not for a schedule that shifts twice before wheels-down.

Late April, note well

Golden Week quietly closes corporate Tokyo.

Questions

Tokyo — FAQ

Should we fly into Haneda or Narita?

When the schedule allows, Haneda (HND) — it is dramatically closer to the business districts. Either way, the transfer is planned around the actual arrival: the desk tracks the flight, the chauffeur meets you with a name board at the agreed point, and a Narita (NRT) arrival is simply given the road time it honestly requires.

Can we book by the hour for a Tokyo meeting day?

Yes. As-directed service keeps one chauffeur and vehicle with your party through the day — Marunouchi in the morning, Toranomon after lunch, dinner in Ginza — which matters in a city where re-summoning a vehicle of this standard at short notice is not a given. Amendments flow through the New York desk.

Is this Famous Drive's own fleet in Tokyo?

No, and we say so plainly. Our owned fleet is in New York; in Tokyo you are driven by a vetted partner house held to the Famous Drive standard. The account, the confirmation, the oversight, and the invoice are ours — the client experiences one house across both cities.
