Long Island City · Wedding Transportation

Your wedding at The Foundry, timed to the minute.

The Foundry sits in Long Island City, minutes from Midtown — close enough that the whole day runs on short crossings and precise timing. We move the wedding party ahead for photos, loop guests from their hotels by Sprinter, and hold cars nearby until the last send-off. One manifest, one dispatcher, one calm day.

The Wedding Day, Driven

How the day moves.

The Photo Run

The wedding party moves hours before the guests do — hotel pickups in Manhattan, a short crossing, portraits along the Long Island City waterfront with the skyline behind you. We build the pickup times backward from your photographer's schedule. You arrive composed, with time to spare.

Guest Sprinter Loops

Because the venue is minutes from Midtown, a single Sprinter can run continuous loops between the hotels and the door. Guests board at a posted time and step out at the entrance — no ride-share scatter, no one lost on the way to Queens. Every seat is tracked on one manifest.

The Late Return

Chauffeurs stage on nearby blocks during dinner and dancing, then come to the door in waves as the night winds down. The couple leaves in a sedan; guests board Sprinters back to Manhattan. The last car does not leave until the last name on the manifest is accounted for.

Midtown is minutes away. The night should feel like it isn't.

Twelve Seats, One Manifest

Moving the whole wedding?

The Mercedes Sprinter carries up to twelve, so the wedding party and the guest shuttle run on one manifest with one dispatcher. Sprinter runs are quoted personally by the desk.

Questions

The Foundry — FAQ

How do guests get from Manhattan hotels to The Foundry?

By Sprinter shuttle, usually via the Queensboro Bridge or the Queens–Midtown Tunnel — a short crossing at most hours. We set boarding times at each hotel, run continuous loops, and track every seat on a single manifest so no one is left waiting on a curb. For smaller groups, sedans and SUVs run the same route on the same schedule.

Where do the cars go during the ceremony and reception?

They do not idle outside the door. Chauffeurs stage on nearby streets in Long Island City and hold there until the dispatcher calls them up, so the front of the venue stays clear for your photographer and your guests. When a departure is early or unplanned, a car is minutes away.

Can you move the wedding party separately from the guests?

Yes — that split is most of the job. The wedding party typically travels hours earlier for first-look photos, in a sedan or SUV, while guests follow later by Sprinter. Both tracks sit on one manifest with one dispatcher, so a change on either side ripples through the whole schedule.

How is wedding transportation priced?

Rates are confirmed privately by the desk once we have reviewed your timeline, vehicle mix, and hours. Tolls and taxes are included; gratuity is not. Send the desk your date and a draft schedule and we will return a written quote.
